The Note Flash App

This week's app is the Note Flash app:

​Note Flash (Pranoy Chowdhury) Improve sight reading skills for sheet music; listens via the microphone to make sure user plays the correct note in the correct octave; accidentals (sharp and flat notes) along with ledger lines for advanced players; shows graphs on progress in recognizing notes more quickly; play the note shown on the screen on the piano and the app will listen via the microphone; user must play in the correct octave; if played correctly app shows a new note on the screen; built for practice; makes note reading into a game; can select which hand to practice or do both randomly; variety of themes or use own picture for theme; no ads; needs microphone access to listen to piano; does not connect to the Internet and microphone data is safe; (iOS 10.0 or later).
