Today's app is the YouthBeat app:

YouthBeat (https://www.youthbeatrcm.ca) Music creation app for everyone who loves music and has ever tried to create a melody or a song; offers the tools needed to create original ideas and to develop musical abilities; mixing and matching of different beat patterns; two tempos, two drum kits, and many fills; tap the synth or rock page to add melodies and chords; when user taps a chord, app shows which melody notes are part of the chord; simplifies the process of writing original melodies and lets user work by ear; three sets of synths and three guitar sounds to create any style of music from rock to reggae, hip hop to house; blues page lets user explore the granddaddy of today’s music; add vocals or export to GarageBand or another music or video app using the new Files feature in iOS 11; export tracks via email and share them through the YouthBeat Slack group; find collaborators and get feedback from peers; check out tutorials posted on Slack and take an online course; (iOS 9.0 or later).
